Linda Edwards & Jessica Winternheimer Named Methodist's 2015 Caring Kind Employees

Linda Edwards, a nurse coordinator in the ACE Unit, is Methodist Hospital's 2015 Caring Kind Employee. Jessica Winternheimer, a medical social worker in the NICU, is Methodist Women's Hospital's 2015 Caring Kind Employee.

Linda Edwards

Linda Edwards was recognized for her selection as a 2015 Caring Kind employee at a celebration at Methodist Hospital on August 25.

Linda's coworkers describe her as "an example of a great RN, role model and team player."

She is known as "an amazing resource" who is eager to help with patient care and always willing to find the answers patients or colleagues may need.

Linda, a Methodist Hospital employee for more than seven years, was named Methodist Hospital Employee of the Month for April 2015. 

Methodist Women's Hospital's Caring Kind Employee:

Jessica Winternheimer

Jessica Winternheimer was recognized for her selection as a 2015 Caring Kind employee at a  celebration at Methodist Women's Hospital on September 14.

Jessica's coworkers praise her tireless support of families and staff to ensure positive communication and collaboration throughout even the most difficult cases.

Jessica, a Methodist Women's Hospital employee for nearly four years, was named Methodist Women's Hospital Employee of the Quarter for 1st Quarter 2015.  

Nebraska's Caring Kind Award Program

Hospitals across the state select a Caring Kind Award winner from within their respective institutions to be honored at the Nebraska Hospital Association's annual conference. The 2015 Caring Kind luncheon, set for October 23, will honor those award winners as Nebraska hospitals' most caring individuals.

This is the second year that Methodist has named two Caring Kind Employees: one from Methodist Hospital and one from Methodist Women's Hospital.  

Methodist Hospital's Caring Kind Employee of the Year is chosen by the committee members who select Methodist Hospital's Employees of the Month. The Caring Kind employee is selected from a pool of the past year's Employee of the Month winners.

Methodist Women's Hospital's Caring Kind Employee is chosen by the committee members who select Methodist Women's Hospital's Employees of the Quarter. The Caring Kind employee is selected from a pool of the past year's Employee of the Quarter winners.
