Cardiac Rehabilitation Week: February 14-20
Published: Feb. 15, 2016Help us celebrate National Cardiac Rehabilitation Week and draw attention to the role of cardiac rehabilitation in reducing the potentially devastating effects of heart disease.
A heart attack strikes someone about every 43 seconds. This occurs when blood flow that supplies oxygen to the heart is severely reduced or cut off completely. This happens when the arteries that supply the heart with blood slowly narrow from a buildup of fat, cholesterol and other substances (plaque).
Signs of a Heart Attack
