Jan Hansen has seen a lot of good in her 34 years as a nurse at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital.
Most of it involves the caring attention she and other health care practitioners devote to patients and their families every day.
She’s also seen good outcomes from the MJEH Employee Caring Campaign. Jan was one of the original ambassadors for the campaign and served in that role for almost a decade. She has supported it even longer.
“I’ve seen the money from the campaign help so many people, from providing transportation to and from appointments on the Medi-Bus, to covering the cost of co-pays, to many other positive impacts on people’s lives,” she said. “The Employee Caring Campaign is something I’ve always supported. I’m proud of the help it gives, and I always will be.”
Her devotion to caring for others includes encouraging staff members at MJEH to support the Employee Caring Campaign and ultimately help people inside and outside the hospital with whatever they might need.
Remember that employees' gifts -- in any amount -- will support excellent patient care and the projects and programs at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital and show our community that employees believe in the important work our Jennie Family does.
