The Shine Award for Nursing Assistants honors these staff members for the special role they play in patient care at Methodist Hospital and Methodist Women's Hospital. Their Supporting Hands assist our nurses In achieving Nursing Excellence and quality patient outcomes.

Gabi Henry
Gabi Henry, a nursing assistant at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital, has been honored with the Shine Award.
Her nomination from a patient read: "Gabi is very helpful and comes and checks on periodically, even if I haven’t pushed my call button. She takes me for walks, helps me shower, takes my dinner tray and empties specimens. She does this all with a smile.Thank you, Gabi!"
