The Shine Award for Nursing Assistants honors these staff members for the special role they play in patient care within the Methodist Health System. Their Supporting Hands assist our nurses In achieving Nursing Excellence and quality patient outcomes.

Faith Olofson
Faith Olofson, a nursing assistant on the Progressive Care Unit at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital, has been honored with the Shine Award.
Olofson's nomination from a patient is below:
"Faith shows compassion to her patients that is extraordinary. She is not only a credit to her chosen profession but a huge credit to Methodist and Jennie Edmundson Hospital. I was proud of her."
