Kim Ware Is Methodist Women's Hospital's Employee of the Quarter

Birth certificate clerk Kim Ware is the Methodist Women's Hospital Employee of the Quarter for the second quarter of 2023.

She was nominated by a colleague, who wrote:

"Kim has worked in the Methodist system for 23 years. I worked with her as a nurse aide and in her current role of birth certificate clerk. She knows her job very well and is able to work with all families, treating everybody with respect. Many families come with unique circumstances, and she helps them get through the birth certificate process. She always answers questions kindly and is very friendly at work. When the birth certificate office was short an employee, Kim worked overtime over a several week period so the work would be done in a timely manner. She is definitely a team player. I think she would be an excellent Employee of the Quarter."

The Methodist Women's Hospital Employee of the Quarter award program began in the first quarter of 2013. Award nominations may be submitted by physicians, supervisors, coworkers and staff. Judging is based on how candidates embody the mission and core values of Methodist Women’s Hospital: patient focus, integrity, excellence, learning, compassion, teamwork and respect.

Employee of the Quarter award winners are automatically considered for the Caring Kind Employee of the Year award, as are Methodist Hospital's Employees of the Month.
