Notifications for Expired Licenses and Certifications Go Live in Workday on Aug. 1

Beginning Aug. 1, Workday will send notifications to employees about soon-to-expire and expired licenses and certifications. Depending on individual Workday notification settings, employees may receive this as a daily email, a weekly email digest or a pop-up within Workday app. Once the information is updated by the employee and approved by HR, the notifications will stop. The notifications will be inclusive of all employee certifications: preferred, not required and job-required. 

Human Resources recently emailed each employee who has an expired license and/or certification that is required for their job, asking them to update this important documentation in Workday. Many have already reached out for assistance or updated their information directly on their worker profiles. Thank you for the prompt response!

While employees are highly encouraged to update the information directly in Workday, Human Resources will temporarily accept a copy of the certification card via email at @email. Beginning in September, you'll be required to enter the information into your Workday profile; instructions for doing so are found on the People Portal by searching “certification.”
