Employee Flu Shot Distribution Coming Soon; Volunteers Needed to Staff Locations
Published: Aug. 24, 2023According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, getting the flu vaccine has many important benefits. It can keep you from getting sick with the flu, or make symptoms less severe if you do become sick. In turn, the vaccine helps reduce days of missed work and school, visits to doctor’s offices, and flu-related hospitalizations and deaths.
Methodist believes in the importance of vaccination, which is why we will once again be offering free flu shots for employees at various locations throughout the health system.
Please note: This year there will be a new consent form process, with more information shared from Employee Health soon.
