Nathan Johnson Is Methodist Hospital's Employee of the Month for October 2023

Nebraska Methodist College graduate Nathan Johnson is a registered nurse in the Surgery Main department. He embodies our core values of integrity, excellence, learning, compassion, teamwork and respect in everything he does. Nathan has been a Methodist employee for over four years.

From his nomination: “Nathan goes above and beyond and always places patient safety as the No. 1 priority. He utilizes his interdisciplinary collaboration skills to provide a calm and quiet setting for the patients. When core leaders are out, Nathan steps up and takes on their roles to ensure all members of the team have a resource that is a simple Vocera call away. He is also a “go-to” for the OR training staff when they have questions about various procedures. Nathan does an amazing job with keeping a positive attitude even during challenging times. He is a person of action and is always ready to jump in and assist with anything. He works hard every day and is an excellent candidate for the Employee of the Month Award!”
