Methodist Veterans: Please Update Your Employee Record by Oct. 25

Methodist Health System would like to honor employees who have served or are currently serving in the military. We're proud of our veterans and want to show appreciation to those who wish to be honored.

More information about this year's veteran recognition activities will be communicated in the coming weeks. For now, we're asking veterans to view and/or update their military information in Workday by Wednesday, Oct. 25, to be included in our 2023 celebrations. Follow these steps:

1. Log in to Workday.
2. Select the profile icon in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Click the "View Profile" button.
4. Under your name, in the blue column, select the "Actions" button.
5. Hover over Personal Data and select either "Change My Veteran Status Identification" or "View My Veteran Status Identification." 
6. Make any necessary changes, then click "Submit."

If you're a veteran but don't want to be listed on Methodist's annual honoree list or participate in the veteran recognition program, follow these steps:

1. Follow steps 1-5 above and click "Change My Veteran Status Identification."
2. Add a comment: I do not want to be included in the veteran recognition program. 
3. Click "Submit."
