Join the Methodist employee blood drive this month with the Nebraska Community Blood Bank

Maintaining life-giving supplies of blood is critical for our hospital, region and nation. That's why Methodist employees are encouraged to participate in a monthlong blood drive sponsored by the Nebraska Community Blood Bank.

Throughout March, Methodist employees can give blood at the Nebraska Community Blood Bank Donor Center at 12100 Pacific St. in Omaha. Appointments are recommended, and they can be made by visiting ncbb.org/omaha or calling (402) 486-9414. When making your appointment online, include MHS in the comment area so the center knows you're a Methodist employee. If making an appointment over the phone, please state that you're from Methodist.

No fasting is needed to donate. Plan to allow approximately one hour for the donation process.

You are especially encouraged to call if:

• Your iron count may be low
• You have traveled to Mexico in the last year
