Methodist Hospital service executive Jan Morgan honored with The DAISY Nurse Leader Award

Congratulations to Jan Morgan, MSN, RN, NE-BC, service executive for Patient Care Administration at Methodist Hospital, for being honored with The DAISY Nurse Leader Award. The Nebraska Methodist College alumna was nominated by wound care case manager Kathy Lange, BSN, RN, CWOCN, who wrote:
“She is a wonderful direct supervisor who allows and trusts us to perform our job as inpatient wound care nurses. She supports us in every way possible, including personal and professional growth and development. She is a great advisor when we have concerns. I know that I can always go to her with concerns, suggestions and ideas, and she will always listen and consider them. She fosters an environment that strives to achieve great patient outcomes and staff satisfaction.”
