CI Conversations: Panel to discuss importance of Continuous Improvement Leader Education
Published: April 1, 2024Methodist’s Operational Innovation team is proud to announce the next installment of Continuous Improvement Conversations – and you’re invited.
All Methodist employees are welcome for this livestreamed event that will explore how continuous improvement helps teams across the health system provide The Meaning of Care.
In the latest edition, Julie Williams, senior operational innovation specialist, will be talking with a panel of five graduates of Continuous Improvement (CI) Leader Education about how the training has changed their leadership practices, challenges for implementing new practices, key takeaways from the course and recommendations for leaders and teams considering a CI Leader Education cohort of their own.
The panelists are:
- Patrick Sampson, director of laboratory at Methodist Fremont Health
- Chris Lett, service executive for Food and Nutrition Services at Methodist Hospital
- Wendy Andersen, service leader for outpatient procedures at Methodist Fremont Health
- Kelly Jewell, service leader for Methodist Fremont Health's surgery perioperative services
- Brian Smith, Methodist Health System's director for Emergency Management
The conversation will be recorded and available on demand after the event.
