Join the fight against colon cancer at the Boxer 500 on Aug. 18

The Boxer 500, a short run and walk to fight colon cancer, is back with in-person and virtual events. Join us the weekend of Aug. 17-18 to support the cause.

Methodist Hospital and Methodist Physicians Clinic are proud to sponsor the Great Plains Colon Cancer Task Force, which organizes the event.

What: 5K run/walk, 1-mile walk, 1K Kids Run and Kids Dash

When: Aug. 18

Where: Werner Park in Papillion

Live event registrations include:

• 2024 Boxer 500 T-shirt/unique survivor T-shirt (T-shirts are guaranteed only to participants registered by July 30)
• Finisher medals
• Pancake feed
• Kids zone
• All of the fun, community, support and celebration offered at Boxer 500!

Virtual event details

The Virtual Boxer 500 will be held the weekend of Aug. 17-18. Pick a day, pick your distance, and enjoy the run/walk with your family, friends and pets.

Virtual registrations include:

• 2024 Boxer 500 T-shirt/unique survivor T-shirt (T-shirts are guaranteed only to participants registered by July 30)
