Anna Revoy honored with the SHINE Award for Nursing Assistants

The SHINE Award for Nursing Assistants honors these staff members for the special role they play in patient care within the Methodist Health System. Their Supporting Hands assist our nurses In achieving Nursing Excellence and quality patient outcomes. 

SHINE Award Winner

Anna Revoy, a student nurse tech on the Medical Surgical Unit at Methodist Hospital, has been honored with the SHINE Award. 

From her nominator, Amanda Kruckman, BSN, RN, CMSRN:

"She was the CNA paired with me one day, and the way she cared for our nonverbal patient brought tears to my eyes in the best way. Anna went out of her way to try and converse with her, explaining everything she was doing for the patient. She went above and beyond cleaning her up, even getting underneath her fingernails with wipes (which was desperately needed) even though she had multiple other patients also needing care. She took the time to show the patient the flower delivery she had received and set them on her bedside table next to her so she could see and enjoy them. I could really tell Anna was doing everything in her power to provide exceptional service to not only this patient but also the rest of our patients we had together that day, and I wanted to ensure she would receive high praises for it because the compassion I witnessed from her was extraordinary. We are so blessed to have Anna as part of our team!"
