The Methodist Operational Innovation (OI) team is committed to helping build a culture that embraces continuous improvement. Through continuous improvement strategies, Methodist can develop an army of problem solvers, give back time to frontline staff members to be better caregivers and increase employee engagement.

Continuous improvement classes forming

One way OI supports building a continuous improvement culture is by providing education. OI offers a six-week class that focuses on principles and behaviors of continuous improvement, with the goal of giving leaders the tools they need to build a team of a problem solvers. A shorter two-session option is also available.

Continuous improvement classes are available to any Methodist employee. Interested in learning more or enrolling in a class? Email @email.

4 more ways that Operational Innovation can support your work

OI team members are ready to partner with your department to pursue continuous improvement. For example, OI can help your team by:

  • Establishing a daily visual management board and guiding staff members on its use and benefits
  • Providing a customized 60-minute course to refresh a daily visual management board and boost engagement
  • Engaging one-on-one in regular huddles
  • Facilitating continuous improvement projects
