Jennie Edmundson offers mammograms each Saturday in October

Breast cancer is one of the most common cancers in women in the U.S., and it's the second leading cause of cancer death in women, according to the American Cancer Society (ACS).
Mammogram technology is one of the best tools we offer to detect and diagnose breast cancer and other abnormalities. But about one in four women ages 50 to 74 weren't up to date with their mammograms in 2022, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
During Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, take time to make your health a priority. Get a mammogram at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital if you're eligible.
