Emily Lydiatt is Methodist Hospital's Employee of the Month for October

Emily Lydiatt is a registered nurse on the Acute Care for Elders/General Medicine unit. She embodies our core values of integrity, excellence, learning, compassion, teamwork and respect in everything she does. Emily has been a Methodist employee for over four years.

From her nomination:

"Emily portrays The Meaning of Care in everything she does. She is kind and approachable by all who know and need her. She is empathetic and sympathetic to our geriatric population. She will always help in any way she can, and with any situation, she does it with a sweet smile and lots of compassion. Emily is always professional and is a prime example of what nursing with care means. Our patients benefit from her calm and caring demeanor. She is comforting in her ability to work and adapt to any situation. She is knowledgeable and is able to share her knowledge with any and all staff in a way that helps them learn. Emily is the most deserving person of this award!"
