Nebraska Methodist College to Name Holly Huerter an Honorary Alumna

Holly Huerter, Methodist Health System vice president of human resources, is among those who will be honored at the Nebraska Methodist College Alumni Reunion Dinner on Friday, Oct. 26. She will be named an Honorary Alumna in recognition of her longstanding contributions that have strengthened the college and empowered Methodist employees to continue their education through Methodist Health System Academy programs. 

The annual Alumni Reunion Dinner is an opportunity to connect with members of the Methodist family for a special evening of food, fun, music and inspiration.  Additional award presentations:

• Keitha Thomson, Nebraska Methodist College Class of 1970, will receive the Horizon Award for more than a quarter-century of humanitarian work in providing medical mission trips to Jamaica.
• The late Cheyla Pettett, the 24th member of Nebraska Methodist College's inaugural Master of Occupational Therapy class, will be recognized with a Special Honorary Alumna honors. A presentation will be made to the Pettett family in Cheyla’s memory.
• Heather Melcher, Nebraska Methodist College student, will receive the 2018 Alumni Spirit of Caring Scholarship Winner.
