Continuing Education Opportunity: 'Code Blue' Film Viewing and Q&A With Filmmakers
Published: Dec. 2, 2021Want to learn more about how the food we eat impacts our body and health? Please join us to watch the documentary "Code Blue" that explores lifestyle medicine and its role in helping to prevent, manage and reverse chronic diseases. Following the film, we'll host a live Q&A session that will include the film’s executive producer, Dilip Barman, and producer, Dr. Saray Stancic. Healthy snacks will be provided.
Program Objectives
- Discussion of how diet and nutrition plays a factor in prevention of chronic health concerns
- Recognize the impact that diet and nutrition plays in our overall health
Target Audience
We welcome all nurses, physicians, mental health practitioners, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, respiratory therapists, other health care professionals and community members interested in learning more about lifestyle choices that reduce risk and manage and reverse chronic diseases.
Contact hours will be awarded for nurses; mental health practitioners; occupational therapy and certified occupational therapy assistants; physical therapy/physical therapist assistants; physicians; respiratory specialists; speech therapy specialists; certified health and wellness coaches; and educators.
