Make your voice heard by completing the annual employee engagement survey

The annual employee engagement survey is officially live and open through Friday, Sept. 6. You will be receiving your individualized link via your Methodist Health System email today!

The online survey, facilitated by Press Ganey, is one of the best ways we receive candid feedback. How will we know what we’re doing well and where we have opportunities to improve if we don’t ask?  

Learning as much as we can about how you perceive Methodist is essential. This information guides our efforts to improve employee offerings, remain a preferred workplace and excel in delivering safe, effective care.

You have the power to drive real change. For example, feedback from the 2022 survey led to: 

  • The launch of our Workday platform, which has greatly enhanced the employee experience related to your employee information and Human Resources-related applications 
  • Enhancements in our voluntary benefits, an improved 401(k) program and other benefit elements, including compensation 
  • A project that will result in the launch of a new intranet platform in October. The platform will greatly enhance our communication efforts with employees and make important information easier to find.

In addition, there were a number of comments within the 2022 survey that led to improved processes and performance. Your ideas – whether left in the comment section of the survey or sent in an email to me or our leadership team – are necessary for us to improve our performance year after year.

In 2022, 80% of Methodist employees participated in the survey. This wasn’t surprising, as we know we have a dedicated workforce committed to fulfilling our mission. 

I want to assure you that all Methodist surveys are confidential. Responses are collected on an external site and sent directly to Press Ganey. Only the high-level data is shared with Methodist. Please ask your manager any questions you have in an effort to feel confident and informed as you complete the survey. Your manager can also connect you with one of our HR advisors across the health system as they are also a good resource.

This year, our goal is to reach 100% participation – perhaps ambitious for some organizations, but not Methodist! Thank you in advance for doing your part to help us surpass last year’s participation. Imagine the positive change we can drive if every employee makes their voice heard.
