Methodist is proud to present the Better Living Program, a medically-supervised health and weight management program available to qualified employees who are on the MHS Employee Health Care Plan AND who participate in the 2016 Simply Well Screening, known as the Wellness Screen.
Due to limited spaces in the program, participants will be selected by medical necessity and their availability to meet at specified times. In the future, additional groups will be added to reach more employees and varied schedules.
The multidisciplinary program focuses on health, weight management, behavior modification, good nutrition and activity. This will include motivation, support, and accountability, as well as a financial incentive to meet goals. The 16-week program runs October 4, 2016 – January 27, 2017.
