MJE 16-Week Health & Weight Management Program Starts October 6
Published: Sept. 19, 2016MJE Better Living Program Application Deadline: September 30
Methodist is proud to present the Better Living Program, a medically-supervised health and weight management program available to qualified employees who are on the MHS Employee Health Care Plan AND who participate in the 2016 Simply Well Screening, known as the Wellness Screen.
Due to popular demand, a new 16-week program is scheduled to begin at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital. The MJE program runs October 6, 2016 – January 19, 2017.
Due to limited space in the program, participants will be selected by medical necessity and their availability to meet at specified times. In the future, additional groups will be added to reach more employees and varied schedules. This is ongoing program, so you are encouraged to apply. If you are not selected for this session, there is a chance you could be accepted into a 2017 session.
The multidisciplinary program focuses on health, weight management, behavior modification, good nutrition and activity. This will include motivation, support, and accountability, as well as a financial incentive to meet goals.
