What Is an Employee Resource Group (ERG)?
Nebraska Methodist Health System Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) work to further our mission and values, represent the interests of their membership, and support our overall diversity and inclusion strategy.
ERGs focus on a variety of underrepresented or marginalized voices. They are voluntary, employee-led networks that form based on shared characteristics or background and are sponsored by the health system.
Our vision is to create an environment of inclusion and belonging that encourages and embraces authenticity while nurturing every employee to realize their full potential.
ERGs assist in attracting, engaging, developing and retaining top talent and further unleashing how we care, educate and innovate health care for the patients and communities we serve.
Methodist Health System ERGs define specific goals that strengthen each CARE pillar: community, advocacy, resources and education.
Why Participate in an ERG?
- Build your network across the enterprise and cultivate genuine relationships.
- Attend professional development programming facilitated by subject matter experts.
- Elevate your cultural intelligence by attending events and celebrations, and volunteering.
- Create a sense of belonging that will assist our system in retaining top talent.
