Monoclonal Antibody Infusions

Methodist Health System is offering Monoclonal Antibody Infusions for COVID-19. These infusions are reserved for treatment of patient’s ≥18 years old with a positive SARS-CoV-2 direct viral test who are at high risk for progression to severe disease or hospitalization:
- ≥65 years of age
- Body mass index (BMI) ≥25
- Chronic kidney disease
- Diabetes
- Immunosuppressive disease or receiving immunosuppressive treatment
- Cardiovascular disease
- Hypertension
- Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease/other chronic respiratory disease
- Pregnancy
- Sickle cell disease
- Neurodevelopment disease (i.e. cerebral palsy, genetic/metabolic syndrome, severe congenital anomalies)
- Tracheostomy or gastrostomy not related to COVID-19
- Positive pressure ventilation not related to COVID-19
